Visakhapatnam: A worried husband's complaint of his poker-playing wife has led to serious revelations from Visakhapatnam's Lalith Nagar. A man who happened to be the husband of one of the women running a gambling club in Visakhapatnam, complained police about his wife playing cards daily. Police raided the location based on the information and have taken 6 women into custody. The incident is from Lalith Nagar, and police also reported that they have seized ₹22,000 from their poker den.
Further investigation into the matter is still ongoing, while the incident has created a stir locally. It is being said that these women have been playing poker in Lalith Nagar and surrounding areas for a while. They are also said to be running a poker mini-club. Even after significant warnings from police, they continued to run a gambling business.
Husband Complains About His Poker Playing Wife
The gambling club came to light when the husband of one of the women complained police. He informed the police chief, and the Fourth Town Police and Task Force Police raided the location. A total of 6 women have been arrested, and ₹22,000 has been seized.

Police actions against poker clubs
Police in this area have warned these women previously as well, and it's been a while since they have been running such poker clubs. Reportedly, they were playing for the whole day from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The Andhra Pradesh police have recently been catching poker players and drug dealers with the help of drones. In many districts where people are playing poker in fields and in open places without being spotted by the police. However, the usage of drones in such areas is helping police to catch people red-handed.
