Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A memorable ceremony was held on Saturday at the Assistant Training Centre of the Border Security Force (BSF) here to commemorate the successful completion of ‘Operation Sindoor 2025’, a significant mission showcasing valour and patriotism in defence of the nation.
The event was jointly organised by the Central School of Weapons and Tactics (CSWT) and the BSF Assistant Training Centre, where brave personnel from various ranks of the Jammu Frontier, who actively participated in the operation, shared their frontline experiences.
Distinguished guests at the event included Deepak Vohra, former diplomat, Government of India, Alok Kumar Singh, inspector general, BSF and Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, deputy inspector general, BSF (Kirti Chakra). The event also featured insights from Arvind, deputy commandant of the Jammu Frontier, who detailed the operational strategies and challenges faced during the mission.
The brave jawans from the Jammu Frontier provided a detailed account of their contributions during Operation Sindoor. Former diplomat Deepak Vohra shed light on the strategic and diplomatic significance of the operation, while DIG Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, a Kirti Chakra awardee, whose experiences inspired the upcoming film ‘Ground Zero’, highlighted the on-ground realities of the mission.
Personnel and trainees from CSWT and STC BSF units were given insights into the tactical execution and operational intricacies of Operation Sindoor. Members of CISF posted at the Indore airport were also present in the event.
In the evening, a special ceremony was held at Anand Mohan Auditorium, where Deepak Vohra, IG Alok Kumar Singh, retired DIG N N D Dubey (Kirti Chakra), and the valiant personnel of the Jammu Frontier were felicitated by the Shaurya Foundation for their outstanding service and
