The cop can be seen promoting a self-proclaimed snake lover on Facebook, claiming that everything people believe about the snake is just blind faith and superstition.
He says the snake only eats rats and doesn’t have any poison in its tail, as many wrongly assume. According to him, the snake is completely harmless and peaceful.
He adds that people are scared because of myths and not actual danger, and through this video, he aims to spread awareness and remove fear about such non-venomous snakes.
He says, “This snake does not have any poison. It does not bite. No one in the world has ever died from its bite. If anyone can prove otherwise, I will give them ₹10 lakh. This is the calmest snake in the world.”
The officer even performs with the snake in front of people to prove his point. While some people gathered around seemed curious, others raised concerns.
Many viewers are questioning if such public demonstrations are safe or responsible. They are asking whether it's right for a policeman to encourage people to handle snakes, even if he claims they are not dangerous.
Animal experts have not yet commented on the type of snake shown in the video, but social media users are divided—some praising his confidence, others warning against spreading such risky ideas.
