Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, strongly mocked Pakistan saying, “Lugaiyaan sambhal nahi pa raha, desh kya sambhalega Pakistan" (They couldn't handle their wifes, how will take care of their country).

This remark came in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 people lost their lives.

The Indian government took strong diplomatic and strategic steps against Pakistan, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and shutting down the Wagah-Attari border crossing.

As a result, several Pakistani women married to Indian men and Indian women married to Pakistani men were left stranded on either side of the border, unable to reunite with their families despite having valid documents.

Shastri was speaking at a public event in Jabalpur on Thursday.

Check out the video below:

He praised the Indian Army and said the whole country is proud of its soldiers.

He also said, “Pakistan is like a child of India,” and added that India should take back Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Shastri mocked Pakistan, saying the country cannot even take care of its women — "Lugaiyaan sambhal nahi pa raha, desh kya sambhalega Pakistan, (If Pakistan can't handle its women, how will it handle a country?) he said.

Talking about India’s strength, he said, “Yeh hai naya Bharat, jo dushman ke ghar mein ghus kar marta hai.”
(This is the new India, which can enter the enemy’s land and strike.)

He ended his speech by saying, “Desh ke do hi hain hero – ek sarhad par khada jawan, doosra khet mein khada kisan.”
(India has only two real heroes — one is the soldier standing at the border, and the other is the farmer standing in the field.)
