CM Yadav highlighted that the support the Bill has received, especially from Muslims, shows public trust in the government’s intent. He criticised opposition parties for claiming to support minorities but doing little for them in practice.
The CM added that the amendment will empower Muslim women, boost revenue for state Waqf Boards, curb financial irregularities, and prevent illegal occupation of Waqf lands. He also said the Bill would help safeguard heritage sites and promote social welfare.
