The makers of Mahavatar Narsimha, the epic animated film, have firmly denied all rumours surrounding the film’s OTT release. In a recent social media post, the team clarified that the movie is currently being screened exclusively in theatres worldwide and no deal with any streaming platform has been finalised.

The film, which released in cinemas on July 25, has garnered strong audience interest, including speculation about when it will arrive on digital platforms. Addressing this buzz, the film’s official Instagram handle issued a statement urging viewers to rely only on verified updates.

The post read, "Stay away from rumours... We've been receiving a lot of buzz about Mahavatar Narsimha coming to OTT soon, but let us clarify: For now, our film is ONLY available in theatres across the whole wide world. We have not finalised any OTT platforms yet. Please believe only authentic updates shared from our official handles. Your trust keeps the Sanatani roar alive."

The caption accompanying the post reiterated the message, stating, "We’re grateful for the excitement around Mahavatar Narsimha and the OTT buzz — But as of now, the film is ONLY playing in theatres worldwide. No OTT deal has been finalized yet. Please trust only the updates shared from our official handles. Your trust fuels the Sanatani roar."

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the animated feature has continued its strong run at the box office. The film has witnessed consistent growth, driven by strong word-of-mouth and family audiences.

Mahavatar Narsimha has also struck a chord with audiences looking for mythological storytelling presented through a fresh, animated lens. If current trends continue, the film is likely to emerge as one of the most successful animated Indian films in recent years.

Directed by Ashwin and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, Mahavatar Narsimha is presented by Hombale Films. The film was released in 3D and in five Indian languages and is based on the mythological incarnation of Lord Vishnu - Narsimha.

The film has garnered positive reviews from both critics and early viewers, with praise directed towards its animation quality, dramatic treatment, and mythological accuracy.
