Angad is granted bail and insists that his friend Sameer, who is still in jail, should also be released.
A flashback reveals what actually happened the night of the accident. Sameer was driving the car when it accidentally hit the footpath, causing damage. However, since Sameer was scheduled to leave for the USA in two weeks, he didn't want to get entangled in any legal trouble. To protect his friend, Angad took the blame. He switched to the driver's seat and later told the police that he was the one driving the car.
Both Angad and Sameer were framed as no one was injured in the accident.
Karan and Gauri talk to Hrithik over a video call. Karan is stressed about Pari after her breakup. However, Gauri tries to calm him down, explaining that the guy was never right for Pari and was only interested in her money.
Angad returns home from jail and receives a grand welcome. Gayatri hugs Angad and says, "If the bail had come on time, things wouldn't have gotten so bad." It was a taunt directed at Tulsi, who had initially believed that Angad was truly guilty and didn't trust him. In fact, she had even delayed the bail procedure, thinking he was responsible for the incident.
Tulsi then apologises to Angad and says she should be punished. She stands with a broom in his hand and asks Angad to hit her as she was wrong. However, Angad gets emotional and says, "Maa, aapne mujhe paraya kar diya." Later, Angad also apologies and assures that he will never hurt Tulsi.
Later, Pari tells Mihir that she is ready for an arranged marriage. She agrees to meet the boy Mihir's friend has suggested, considering him as a potential match for marriage.
On the other hand, Vrinda finds money at home which her brother (police constable) took to frame Angad. She confronts her mother Malti. However, Malti slaps her and defends taking money.
Vrinda then calls Tulsi and tells her that she is ready to help her regarding the accident case and will meet her the next morning.
