The ongoing men's edition of Maharashtra Premier League 2025 saw some stunning turn of events as the fielding team missed at least three run-out chances, with chaotic chances unfolding. A video of the same went viral on social media as the Kolhapur Tuskers made a mess of the run-out chances against the Raigad Royals.
The moment occurred when Vicky Oswal played a drive to the off-side and comfortably completed a single. Sensing a second run, both batters went for the second but sustained a brutal collision in the middle of the pitch. The keeper threw the ball to the non-striker's end but the batter made to the crease just in time. With the other batter still on the ground, another Tuskers fielder ran in to affect a run-out at the striker's end and missed it.

Oswal, nevertheless, held his composure to help the Royals gun down 165 convincingly as they triumphed by six wickets, with the right-hander staying unbeaten at 74 off 54 deliveries with 11 fours and a six. Siddhesh Veer (39) and Neeraj Joshi (37) also made notable contributions to the cause.
For the Tuskers, Ankit Bawne made 57 but consumed 50 deliveries for his knock. Although Anand Thenge's pyrotechnics provided the Tuskers a fighting total, they could not defend it in the end.
