Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at the Monginis shop located inside Churchgate Railway Station on Thursday, June 5, at approximately 5:27 PM. The fire was reportedly caused by a short circuit at one of the stalls in the Churchgate Concourse area.
According to updates from Western Railway, alert staff immediately used a fire extinguisher, everything was brought under control within five minutes. The train operations are normal at the Churchgate Station, and the fire was extinguished. The situation is under control at the Churchgate Station. The Mumbai Fire Brigade, police, and ward staff were quickly mobilised to the site to manage the situation.

The video that surfaced shows heavy smoke rising from the area, causing discomfort and breathing difficulties for nearby commuters. According to the latest update, the fire has been extinguished, and no injuries have been reported.

Fire Breaks Out At Zepto Warehouse In Dahisar; No Injuries Reported
In another fire incident reported on Wednesday at the Zepto Warehouse in Dahisar. The fire broke out around 3 PM on Wednesday at a single-storey warehouse belonging to Zepto, located on Ramkunwar Thakur Marg, behind Pragati Hospital in Dahisar East.
The Mumbai Fire Brigade responded swiftly, deploying six fire engines from the Dahisar fire station. Fire officials managed to bring the blaze under control within 15 to 20 minutes and extinguished it completely within half an hour. No injuries were reported in the incident, according to officials.
According to the report, a fire official mentioned, "Being a warehouse, the fire led to the burning of stored goods. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Preliminary reports suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire, although the exact cause will be confirmed after a detailed investigation."
