Navi Mumbai: In view of the upcoming Independence Day, District Collector Kishan Jawale has instructed all officials in Raigad to ensure the effective and enthusiastic implementation of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, emphasizing that it has evolved into a nationwide people’s movement with strong public participation.
The campaign will be carried out in three distinct phases. The first phase will continue until August 8, the second phase will be held from August 9 to 12, and the third phase will run from August 13 to 15, as per the instructions received from the state government.
As part of this initiative, the national flag is to be hoisted on every household in both urban and rural areas. Additionally, flags should be displayed at government, semi-government, cooperative, and private establishments, as well as at Amrit Sarovars and heritage sites.
To boost public engagement, local bodies such as Gram Panchayats, Nagar Parishads, and Nagar Panchayats, along with district-level authorities, will be organizing a wide range of programs throughout the campaign period. Heritage sites will be specially decorated with lighting displays to mark the occasion.

Schools and colleges in the district will contribute to the campaign by holding competitions, rallies, and exhibitions on topics related to the national flag and patriotic values. The district administration also plans to implement several innovative and creative activities to deepen public participation.
Citizens across the district are being urged to actively participate in the campaign by hoisting the tricolor at their homes and taking part in the scheduled activities to express their patriotism and national pride.
