Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and host of other leaders paid tribute to Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on the occasion of their birth anniversaries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Shiv Sena Chief will be remembered forever as an outstanding leader who always stood with the people. "I pay homage to Shri Balasaheb Thackeray on his Jayanti. He will be remembered forever as an outstanding leader who always stood with the people,’’ he added.

The Chief Minister’s Office released the photo of CM Uddhav Thackeray, who is recovering from his spine surgery, with his son and Tourism and Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray paying tribute to Shiv Sena supremo and also to Subhash Chandra Bose.

Gadkari in a tweet said, ‘’Tribute to HinduHruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray on his birth anniversary.’’
