In a shocking incident, a customer fell ill after finding a dead lizard inside a tandoori roti while dining at a dhaba in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. Tandoori roti is a popular choice at restaurants and dhabas, but eating it outside your home can be risky, as unhygienic preparation methods may harm your health.
A video has surfaced on social media in which the customers are seen confronting the dhaba owner with the tandoori roti in which the dead lizard was found. The video shows that the lizard was also baked along with the roti due to which it stuck deep inside and it became impossible to notice the insect at a glance.
However, the people who took the roti along with them to the dhaba owner and showed him the lizard stuffed inside the roti. They told the dhaba owner that the person who was eating the roti started vomiting after consuming the meal.
There are reports that the incident occurred at Dhaba Ramaiya which is located in Chaubepur Police Station area in Kanpur. The individual was having dinner along with his family at the dhaba when the incident occurred.
The incident has raised serious concerns on the level of hygiene being maintained at these eateries. They are tampering with the health of the customers with the quality of food which they serve at these restaurants and dhabas.
There are reports that the incident has been reported to the health department after which an inquiry can be initiated against the eatery.
