Actress Lataa Saberwal, best known for playing Akshara's mother in the daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is reportedly all set to participate in the upcoming reality show, Bigg Boss 19. The reports have surfaced days after she announced her divorce with Sanjeev Seth after 15 years of marriage.
According to a report in Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan, Lataa has been approached for the 19th season of the superhit reality show, hosted by Salman Khan, and she seems to have given her nod to participate in the show, and showcase a completely different side of hers to the audience.
The actress has neither confirmed nor denied the reports.

She has also been a part of shows like Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. Not just that, but she tried her hand in Bollywood as well, with films like Vivah and Ishq Vishk.
In 2021, Lataa announced her decision to quit daily soaps with the note, "Announcing it formally, that I have quit daily soaps though I am open for web, movies or a great cameo. Thank you daily soaps for being an integral part of my life (sic)."
Lataa Saberwal & Sanjeev Seth's divorce
Lataa made headlines after she announced divorce with her husband, actor Sanjeev Seth, on June 21, after being married for 15 years. The two got married in 2009, and in 2013, they welcomed a son.
Lataa had announced her divorce on Instagram with the note: "After prolonged silence...I declare that I (Lataa Saberwal) have been separated from my husband (Mr. Sanjeev Seth). I give gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life. I request everyone to please respect my and my family’s peace and not to ask any questions or call regarding this (sic)."
Interestingly, Sanjeev also played the role of her husband in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
