A shooting incident occurred at comedian Kapil Sharma’s newly opened KAP’s Café in Surrey on the night of July 9, just days after its launch. According to reports, the café had been operational for only 2-3 days before the attack.
An alleged video of the incident has surfaced on social media. The purported video shows an assailant firing multiple rounds from inside a vehicle, targeting the café’s exterior. Fortunately, no customers were present at the time, suggesting the attack may have been an intimidation tactic rather than an attempt to cause casualties.
Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Laddi has claimed the responsibility for the shooting. Babbar Khalsa International operative Laddi, who features on the National Investigation Agency's most-wanted list, reportedly orchestrated the attack in response to objectionable remarks previously made by the comedian.
