"I request everyone to watch this film and know the truth. It is not made to oppose any religion or hurt the sentiments of any community. Its purpose is to create awareness and expose the dangerous face of terrorism," he added.
Seat reserved for Kanhaiya Lal
Yash revealed that the special screening of the film witnessed an overwhelming turnout and strong public support. He shared that while his mother could not watch the film, an empty seat was reserved in the theatre for his father, adorned with his photograph, to mark his presence.
According to Yash, several Hindu organisations extended support in making and releasing the film, along with full assistance from the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "This backing has given us strength to continue our fight for justice," he said.

About Kanhaiya Lal murder
The Kanhaiya Lal murder took place on June 28, 2022, in Udaipur, when two assailants entered his shop and brutally killed him. He was murdered for allegedly commenting on Prophet Muhammad on social media.
The incident reportedly took place after he shared a social media post supporting a comment made by BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma about Prophet Muhammad.
The murder shook the entire nation, sparking outrage and condemnation. Investigating agencies later linked the killing to a terrorist conspiracy, arresting multiple accused.
Udaipur Files, starring Vijay Raaz and Preeti Jhangiani, depicts the events surrounding the murder, showing how extremist ideologies claim innocent lives and spread fear in society. The film aims not only to present the truth but also to make people aware of how terrorism takes root and why it is vital for society to unite against it.
Udaipur Files is directed by Bharat S Shrinate and produced by Amit Jani.
