Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has leased four apartments in Mumbai's upscale Bandra West area, Pali Hill, for a monthly rent of Rs 24.5 lakh, as per property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com. The move is believed to be temporary, prompted by the redevelopment of the Virgo Cooperative Housing Society, where the actor currently owns multiple properties.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Aamir, who is known to own approximately 12 apartments in the Virgo society, will have to vacate the premises due to the redevelopment project.
The redeveloped structure is reportedly expected to feature ultra-luxury, sea-facing apartments in the high-end real estate segment, with prices likely to soar past Rs 1 lakh per sq ft. Some of the units in the new project could be valued at over Rs 100 crore.

The report further stated that the new lease agreement, spanning five years from May 2025 to May 2030, includes a lock-in period of 45 months. The lease was formally registered on May 20, 2025, with a stamp duty of over Rs 4 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 2,000 paid, according to the documents. The security deposit for the four apartments amounts to more than Rs 1.46 crore, and the rent will see an annual escalation of 5 per cent.
The apartments are located in Wilnomona, a premium residential building just 750 metres away from Puja Casa, currently the temporary home of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family as their iconic bungalow, Mannat, undergoes renovation.
Bandra West continues to be a magnet for Bollywood celebrities. Apart from Aamir and Shah Rukh, the locality is home to other celebrities such as Salman Khan, Javed Akhtar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and veteran actress Rekha. Power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are also expected to move into their newly acquired apartment in the same neighbourhood soon.
