New Delhi: Farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the 20th installment of Rs 2,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). The previous 19th installment was released in February 2025. This time, the July payment has been delayed, unlike last year when it was disbursed before June-end.

Only those farmers who meet specific eligibility criteria and complete certain actions will receive the 20th installment.

Eligibility Criteria for Receiving the PM Kisan 20th Installment

To receive the benefits under the PM-KISAN scheme, farmers must:

- Be an Indian citizen

- Own cultivable agricultural land

- Be a small or marginal farmer

- Not be receiving a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more

- Not be an income tax payer

- Not be an institutional landholder

Mandatory Steps to Receive the 20th Installment

Eligible farmers must ensure the following steps are completed to receive the next installment:

- Complete e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer)

- Without e-KYC, no installment will be released. Farmers must complete this via the official PM Kisan website or nearby CSC centers.

Link Aadhaar with Bank Account

Bank accounts not linked with Aadhaar may result in rejected payments due to data mismatch.

Verify Bank Account Details

Incorrect IFSC codes or account numbers can lead to failed transfers. Farmers should double-check and correct their account information.
