The 20th installment of the scheme is now awaited, and there is speculation that it might be released on July 18.
Why July 18 is Being Considered?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Motihari, Bihar on July 18, where he will address a public gathering at Gandhi Maidan. It is widely believed that during this event, PM Modi may also release the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme as part of various public announcements.
This would follow the usual pattern where PM Modi personally launches the installment at a public event, using Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to credit the amount directly to farmers' bank accounts, often followed by interaction with beneficiaries.
No Official Date Yet on PM-Kisan Portal
Although expectations are high for a July 18 release, as of now, the official PM-Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in) and mobile app have not confirmed the date for the 20th installment. Typically, a few days before each installment, the release date is updated on the official platform.
Farmers are advised to regularly check the official website or app for the most accurate and updated information.
Farmers Will Receive Rs 2,000 in 20th Installment
Eligible farmers under the PM-Kisan scheme will receive Rs 2,000 in the upcoming 20th installment. Every year, the central government provides Rs 6,000 to registered farmers in three equal installments, offering critical financial support to boost agricultural activities.
