New Delhi: PM Kisan Yojana 20th Installment Date: The government has shared a latest update on the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana), suggesting that the scheme’s next, i.e., 20th installment, is now in its final stage. Over 9.8 crore farmers across the country may receive the Rs 2000 installment in their bank accounts next week.

Considering the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar again. On July 18, 2025, PM Modi will address a public gathering in Motihari, Bihar, where the installment transfer is likely to be announced. As always, the announcement of the installment is expected to be made by the Prime Minister himself. This means the wait for farmers is about to end.

PM Kisan 20th Installment Alert

Government Urges Farmers to Complete These 6 Updates

Following an alert issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, farmers’ hopes for the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana have increased. The alert urges farmers to update their essential details immediately to ensure there are no delays in receiving the installment.

The Ministry shared this alert on social media, stating that if farmers want the Rs 2000 to be transferred to their accounts on time and without issues, they must complete the following six processes immediately:

Complete e-KYC

No farmer can receive the installment without completing e-KYC. This process can be done through the PM Kisan portal or at a CSC center.

Link Aadhaar with Bank Account

The benefit of the scheme will only be available if the Aadhaar number is correctly linked to the bank account.

Check Bank Account Details

Errors in IFSC code, account number, or name can cause the installment to get stuck.

Resolve Land Record Issues

Farmers must update their land records through the state portal or CSC center.

Check Name in Beneficiary List

Visit the PM Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in) and check your status in the ‘Beneficiary Status’ section using your registration number or mobile number.

Update Mobile Number

A correct mobile number is necessary to receive OTPs and alerts related to the installment.

The government has clarified that the installment may be withheld for farmers whose details are incomplete or incorrect. Therefore, all beneficiaries are urged to update all necessary documents and details before July 18 to ensure they can benefit from the next installment.

It’s worth noting that the PM Kisan Yojana is an important initiative by the Central Government, under which eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months, directly transferred to their bank accounts.

To avail of this scheme, farmers must complete e-KYC and land verification (land seeding). Farmers who have not yet completed these processes should do so as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this installment.
