New Delhi: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme provides Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farmers in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. This financial help supports small and marginal farmers with their farming needs.
20th Installment Expected Soon
So far, the government has transferred 19 installments of Rs 2,000 each to farmers’ bank accounts under this scheme. Now, the 20th installment is due, and many believe it could be credited on July 18, 2025.
Why July 18 is Being Talked About?
Several media reports suggest that PM Narendra Modi might release the 20th installment on July 18, during his scheduled visit to Motihari, Bihar. He will address a large public event at Gandhi Maidan, where many new announcements for the people of Bihar are expected.
It is believed that during this event, the 20th installment of PM-Kisan could be transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
No Official Confirmation Yet
As of now, the government has not officially confirmed the release date of the 20th installment. PM Modi is on a foreign visit until July 9, and the release is expected only after his return.

Usually, PM Modi releases each installment during a special event, where he also interacts with the beneficiaries of the scheme. That’s why farmers are hopeful for an announcement on July 18.
Farmers are advised to wait for official updates on the PM-Kisan website or from trusted news sources before expecting the installment in their bank accounts.
