Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Women enrolled under the Ladli Behna scheme in Madhya Pradesh are set to receive a special gift just ahead of the festive of Rakhi.
The 27th installment of the scheme will be credited by the government in their account on August 7 with an additional ₹250 as a shagun, summing up the total amount to ₹1500.

MP CM Mohan Yadav took to X, stating that, the monthly installment of ₹1250 is usually transferred after the 10th of every month, but this time the date has been advanced in view of the festival with a bonus of ₹250 as shagun.
The amount will be credited to the bank accounts of over 1 crore 27 lakh women beneficiaries on Thursday. This installment is being released earlier so that Ladli sisters can celebrate the festival happily.
Hike in the monthly amount from Bhai Dooj
CM Mohan Yadav has already announced a hike in the amount of Ladli Behna Scheme. From Bhai Dooj this year, the monthly amount will be increased to ₹1500.
