After completion of investigation, supplementary charge sheet was filed by CBI against the accused persons and those convicted by the court.

CBI Court Sentences 4 Candidates To 7-Year Imprisonment

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The special CBI court here on Tuesday sentenced four candidates to 7 years of imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs 40,000 in MP Forest Guard Recruitment Exam - 2012 conducted by Vyapam.

Anonymous complaints was filed alleging that certain selected candidates Ramchitra Kaushal, Sher Singh Jatav, Bhoop Singh Jatav and Rajesh Solanki did not appear in Forest Guard Recruitment Test-2012 but other persons appeared on their behalf.

During CBI investigation, additional evidence, expert opinion on handwritings, thumb impressions were obtained from FSL. After completion of investigation, supplementary charge sheet was filed by CBI against the accused persons and those convicted by the court. After trial, the court found accused guilty and sentenced them accordingly.

Cops Summon FIIT-JEE Officials To Seize Records

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): MP Nagar police has summoned FIIT-JEE authorities for questioning in the case of cheating registered against them on Monday. Police will scan documents and records of the coaching institute to ascertain the exact amount which they had taken as fee from students on pretext of running coaching classes.

DCP Zone 2 Sanjay Agarwal said that FIIT-JEE authorities have been summoned and their statements will be recorded. Relevant documents and records will be examined to establish the number of students who were admitted at the coaching and how much fee they have deposited, he added.

It is worth mentioning that an FIR was registered against FIIT-JEE coaching director DK Goyal and authorities at Bhopal branch which include Chief Operation Officer Manish Anand, Chief Financial Officer Rajiv Babbar and centre head Sumit Srivastava.

The case was registered on the complaint of parents of students who alleged that they deposited hefty fee but classes at the coaching were discontinued for the last ten days.
