Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a breach of trust, a woman working as a babysitter for five years stole gold jewellery worth Rs 6 lakh from her employer’s house.
The Kohefiza police have arrested the accused along with her fiancé and recovered stolen items from Nagpur.
Stole four gold bangles and two gold bracelets
On August 4, Yasir Ahmed Qureshi told police that unknown miscreants had broken into his house and stole four gold bangles and two gold bracelets from a locked cupboard. A case was registered on his complaint.
Stolen jewellery in Nagpur for sale
During investigation, police grew suspicious of Tanya Bhargav, the babysitter. When questioned by the police, Tanya confessed to theft and revealed that she had handed over the stolen jewellery to her fiancé, Ashish Turnkar in Nagpur for sale.

Stolen item recovered
Koh-e-Fiza police station incharge Krushna Gopal Shukla said police team traced and arrested Ashish from Nagpur and recovered the stolen gold weighing approximately 70 grams.
