Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): TT Nagar police station staff took action in three separate incidents involving illegal weapons and rash driving, leading to the arrest of two habitual offenders and seizure of a modified motorcycle, police said here on Monday.
According to police station incharge Ankita Khatanakar, a team on Sunday arrested two persons with sharp-edged weapons. The first arrest occurred near Dussehra Maidan where Deepak alias Deepu (25), a resident of Jawahar Chowk, was found roaming with a sword.

The second arrest was made near Atal Path where Chhotu alias Sahil (30), also from Jawahar Chowk, was caught with a sharp knife.
Booked under Arms Act
Both are known criminals with multiple past offences (6 and 11 respectively). They were booked under Arms Act and produced before the court, said TI Khatanakar.
During night patrol on August 4, police had intercepted a motorcycle near Chetak Bridge. The rider, Sachin Ahirwar (25), was caught riding recklessly and causing noise pollution with a modified silencer.
Lacking proper documents, he was charged under Motor Vehicle Act. The police recovered two sharp-edged weapons and a motorcycle worth Rs 1 lakh.
