Royal Enfield has expanded its iconic Classic lineup with the launch of the Classic 650 in India, priced from Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). Designed to carry forward the brand’s rich heritage, the new Classic 650 blends retro charm with modern design elements.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is available in four striking color options—Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal, and Black Chrome—each designed to enhance the bike’s signature retro appeal. These colors highlight the flowing lines of the Classic 650, adding a fresh yet timeless look to the motorcycle.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is offered in three variants, each with distinct color options and pricing. The base Hotrod variant comes in Vallam Red and Bruntingthorpe Blue, priced at Rs 3.37 lakh. The Classic variant, featuring a Teal colorway, is priced at Rs 3.41 lakh. The top-end Chrome variant, available in a striking Black Chrome finish, is priced at Rs 3.50 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Chennai).

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is powered by a 648cc air-and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 46.3bhp and 52.3Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. While it shares its chassis and braking components with the Shotgun 650, the Classic 650 sets itself apart with larger 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, enhancing its vintage appeal. In comparison, the Shotgun 650 features an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup, giving it a more modern stance.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is designed for a comfortable and engaging ride, featuring a well-positioned handlebar and a wide cushioned seat that ensures a relaxed posture, even on long journeys. Its premium Showa suspension setup at both ends enhances stability and ride quality across various terrains. The motorcycle also comes with a sleek instrument cluster, integrating a digital LCD screen displaying essential information such as fuel level, odometer, trip meter, gear position, and service reminders.
