Delhi Capitals' keeper-batter KL Rahul spent time clicking pictures with some young fans and a differently-abled fan after the IPL 2025 game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The elegant right-handed batter was seemingly praised for his 'Kantara' celebration by the differently-abled fan.

The 'Kantara' celebration in which Rahul planted the bat authoritatively on the ground at the Chinnaswamy Stadium after blasting the Capitals to a win over the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) with an unbeaten 93. The celebration grabbed massive attention as the Karnataka-born cricketer seemed to be saying this is my yard.

With the fan asking Rahul, 'How are you bhaiya', the 33-year-old responded 'Badhiya' (Very good). The veteran asked in return, 'Aap kaise ho? (How are you?) and the fan replied, 'Ekdum badiya hun bhaiya.' (I'm good too, bhaiya)

He proceeded to saying 'Kya accha celebration tha bhaiya, maza aagaya.' (What a celebration it was. It was great to see)

KL Rahul out for a single-figure score as Delhi Capitals lose second successive home fixture

Meanwhile, Rahul was run-out by Sunil Narine only for 7 in the game against the Knight Riders on Tuesday in the vital stage of the game and the Capitals eventually lost by 14 runs in pursuit of 205.

It was also the second successive defeat for the Capitals at home and have lost 3 out of 4 games at the venue. They will next face the SunRisers Hyderabad on May 5 in an away game.
