Maharashtra News: Shegaon Halt Added To Vande Bharat Express In Pune-Nagpur; Inauguration Set For August 10
The Vande Bharat Express will now halt at Shegaon, enhancing journey convenience for devotees. Inauguration is set for August 10, following efforts by Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav and discussions with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

Mumbai: The Vande Bharat Express going via Nagpur-Pune has got a halt in Vidarbha Pandhari Shegaon and a circular in this regard has been issued by the Railway Department. The ‘Vande Bharat Train’ will be inaugurated on August 10. The halt in Shegaon will make the journey of the devotees easier. For this, the Union Minister of State for Ayush and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav made continuous efforts and follow-up.
Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav had met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav regarding the launch of Vande Bharat Railway and getting a halt in Shegaon. After this, this circular has been issued. The Government of India has started the Vande Bharat Express railway service with a view to accelerating the domestic railway service. The Indian-made Vande Bharat Railway, which provides modern facilities to the passengers, has become the center of attraction for passengers.
The work of connecting the two metropolises from Nagpur to Pune through the Vande Bharat Railway route was done by the Central Government's Railway Department. These are the stops. In the first circular, the stops of the journey were approved via Ajni, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahilyanagar, Daund to Pune.
Devotees from all over the country come to Shegaon, the Santnagari of Buldhana district, which is known as the Pandhari of Vidarbha. Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav had demanded from Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav that the newly started Vande Bharat Express should have a stop at Shegaon. He had given information about the Sant Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan in Shegaon and convinced of the importance of this stop.
Nagpur-Pune Vande Bharat Express will start on August 10. This train will run 6 days a week and will depart from Nagpur at 9.50 am. It will reach Shegaon at around 1.20 pm via Wardha, Badnera, Akola. After that, it will leave for its next journey. Coming from Pune, this train will stop at Shegaon at 2.45 pm. The 884 km distance between Nagpur and Pune will be covered by Vande Bharat Express in just 10 hours.
