The hospital doctors assessed him and promptly admitted him to the pediatric intensive care unit, initiating treatment. He required an injection due to scorpion stings. This injection is unavailable in any pharmacy. Thus, the doctor instructed Pundalik Patil to obtain the injection from the Haffkin Institute located in Parel. Patil promptly departed for Haffkin. Nevertheless, being unaware of the Haffkin Institute's location, he arrived there around noon after asking for directions
He was halted at the entrance of the Haffkin Institute. When questioned about whom he wished to encounter, he provided specific details to the staff present. Subsequently, the staff at the Haffkin Institute notified the officials of the Haffkin Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation about this issue.

Given the gravity of the circumstances, the corporation's officials, upon reviewing the doctor's note, promptly provided Pundalik Patil with seven injections from their emergency reserve. They arrived at Nair Hospital with these injections. Dr. Shailesh Mohite, the hospital's director, stated that following the injection administered by doctors at Nair Hospital, Sarthi showed signs of improvement, according to report by Loksatta.
Dog bite and snake bite incidents take place in Mumbai. Consequently, the hospital offers injections related to this matter. However, due to the absence of scorpion bite cases, this injection was not in stock. Consequently, Pundalik was requested to retrieve the injection from Haffkin. This injection enhanced the infant's health.
