Actor Vibhu Raghave's Mother Breaks Down At His Funeral In Mumbai; Heartbreaking Visuals Surface

Television actor Vibhu Raghave, who appeared in shows like Savdhaan India, Suvreen Guggal - Topper Of The Year, Rhythm and Nisha Aue Uske Cousins, passed away in Mumbai on June 2 after a three-year-long battle with cancer. His funeral was held in Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, on Tuesday afternoon.
Vibhu's industry colleagues, friends and family members arrived at the crematorium to pay their last respects. In a heartbreaking video doing the rounds on social media, Vibhu's mother, Anupama Raghav, is seen breaking down as she arrived at the funeral.
She looked inconsolable in a video posted on Instagram by Instant Bollywood. She was seen with actors and Vibhu's close friends Mohitt Maalik and Addite Malik.
The funeral was also attended by other celebrities like Simple Kaul, Karan Veer Mehra, Aneri Vajani, Nakuul Mehta, Urvashi Dholakia, Rohit Khandelwal and Anjali Anand.
The 37-year-old actor succumbed at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital, and his death was confirmed by his friends, Simple Kaul and Addite Malik on social media.
"The purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity. His smile could light up any room & his presence alone made everything feel better. He faced life with unmatched grace & left behind a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed. Always (sic)," his family said in a statement.
It was in 2022 when Vibhu had shocked his fans by sharing that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer. Since then, he had been sharing motivational photos and videos on his social media handles, promising his fans that he would not give up.

In April 2025, actors Simple Kaul, Karan Veer Mehra, Addite Malik and others had put up a post on social media, requesting people to contribute financially to support Vibhu's chemotherapy in Mumbai.
