NTA BET 2025: Registration Begins At nta.ac.in; Exam Scheduled For May 13

NTA BET 2025: On February 28, 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2025 online registration. To finish the registration process, interested and qualified applicants can go to the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/DBT/ or nta.ac.in. Candidates have until March 28, 2025, to register, according to the official announcement. BET 2025 is set for May 13, 2025, according to NTA.

The exam will be administered in the form of a computer-based test will last 180 minutes.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech/MBBS) or Master’s degree (MSc/MTech/MVSc/MPharm/Integrated MSc/MTech) in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related fields of Biology.

Students enrolled in MSc, MTech, MVSc, or MSc (Agri) programs funded by the DBT Postgraduate Teaching Programme are also eligible.

Candidates who haven't taken the test yet or are awaiting final semester results can apply.

In order to receive an equal grade, students must have received at least 60% in the general, EWS, and OBC categories and 55% in the SC, ST, and differently-abled categories.

The maximum age is 28 years old as of the application deadline.

Age relaxation of up to 3 years (31 years) for OBC-NCL candidates and up to 5 years (33 years) for SC/ST, women, and candidates with disabilities.
