Heavy downpour has continuously hit pummel parts of Pakistan with calamitous floods of epic proportions, unleashing a fresh wave of death and destruction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan and Sindh provinces. The tweets surfaced on #Pakistanfloods show heart-wrenching footages from the natural calamite hit region.

Tornado effect created by heavy gushing water currents

In a chilling video, we could see heavy water tornados hitting the landscapes of Pakistan. Heavy flowing waters seemed to be nightmare with gushing muddy water pulling away everything and anything that came its route.

Sharing the footage of the horrific floods affecting India' neighbouring country, a columnist and author identified as Abdulla Alamadi wrote, "Terrible torrents in Pakistan, destroying thousands of homes and displacing hundreds of thousands of citizens. Our religious and humanitarian duty is to move quickly to help."

Building collapses due to floods

In another clip on floods in Pakistan, we could see a nail-biting moment of a building getting eroded with heavy water movements. According to the tweet shared by actor Fakhr-e-Alam, the building that was crushed and washed away in floods was identified as a hotel in Kalam area.

Landslides due to heavy water flow

Landslides were noticed in massive regions of the country affected with severe floods. From residences, hotels to a section of Karakoram Highway fell to the terrible natural disaster in the province.

In a heart-wrenching video, a stranded boy from Pakistan was praying God in hope to resolve the crisis. The kid could be heard making holy chants "Allah-o-akbar" in the shared video.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan government has decided to call in the Army to help in the rescue and relief operations after many parts of the country were ravaged by the worst floods in more than a decade that has affected more than 33 million people, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday.
