A shocking case of robbery has come to light in the country's capital, Delhi. The infamous 'Mirchi Gang' once again created terror in the Jahangirpuri area on Wednesday evening. Around 7:30 pm, four to five miscreants stormed into E Block on scooties and other bikes. It is alleged that they threw chilli powder in the eyes of a grocery shopkeeper and robbed the shop. The incident was captured on the CCTV camera of the shop and the street.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, the miscreants looted the cash and goods kept in the shop. After the incident, the victim shopkeeper raised an alarm, but the accused fled within a few seconds. Locals say the gang has committed similar crimes in the past, wherein they blind the victim with chilli powder and then rob them.

Legal Action
On receiving the information, the Jahangirpuri police station reached the spot and started scanning the CCTV footage. Police officials say that raids are being conducted in the area to identify the suspects, and the accused will be arrested soon. Local traders are terrified by this incident and are demanding increased security.
Raincoat Gang in New Delhi
The notorious "raincoat gang" targeted a house in Delhi's Laxmi Nagar in the early hours of Saturday and stole cash and jewellery worth Rs 50 lakh. The entire theft was captured on CCTV cameras.
The incident occurred on 9th August at approximately 4:30 AM when several raincoat-clad thieves infiltrated a residential building. The CCTV footage reveals the gang's sophisticated modus operandi, showing members covering their faces with cloth to conceal their identities whilst systematically executing their plan.
