Some bonds are heavenly made; nothing can stop them from being apart from each other; a determined Filipino couple has lived up to this line and decided to tie the knot even during the dangerous typhoon Wipha. The newly weds identified as Jade Rick Verdillo and Jamaica Aguilar, walked down the aisle on Tuesday at the Barasoain church in Malolos, Bulacan province, Philippines, which was flooded due to the heavy rains.
“We just mustered enough courage,” said Verdillo. “We decided today because it is a sacrifice in itself. But there will be more sacrifices if we don’t push through today.” Despite the turbulent weather, the wedding was graced by some of the family members and friends.
Couple Went Viral On Social Media
The heartwarming pictures of the wedding went viral on social media and are pouring thousands of hearts on the Internet. In one of the many pictures, the bride, Aguilar, can be seen walking down the aisle in her white wedding dress while her wedding train floats behind on the waterlogged floors of the church.

'This is just one of the struggles'- Groom
The couple is said to have been together for more than 10 years. The groom said, "I feel that challenges won’t be over. It’s just a test. This is just one of the struggles that we’ve overcome.” One of the wedding guests, Jiggo Santos, said, “You will see love prevailed because even against weather, storm, rain, floods, the wedding continued, It’s an extraordinary wedding.”
In the visuals above, wedding guests can be seen showing the same excitement and enjoying the wedding with sheer happiness. Kids can be seen running in the knee-dip water, folding their pants, while bridesmaids were seen standing still in their fancy dresses during the wedding. At one point, while clicking the group pictures, friends were seen splashing the flood waters onto each other. Everything was captured in the camera, which will now be remembered for a lifetime.
