A drunk homeless man from Brazil has caught everyone's attention for winning an 8-kilometer race wearing just flip-flops and in such a state where people cannot even walk straight. Isaque Pinho, 31 has amazed netizens by his heroic performance with a pack of hundreds of prepared runners. Video of him leading the race has now gone viral on the Internet.
Pinho is a native of the northeastern Pará town of Capitão Poco. He surprisingly won an 8-km race held in Brazil wearing just flip-flops. He was also drunk at the moment and still managed to balance himself.. Struck with alcohol addiction and homelessness, he now claims of stopped drinking, thanks to the race. He said, "The reason I stopped drinking was because I ran that race." Reportedly, he was not registered for the race and was handed a medal for crossing the finish line.

What Did He Say?
Pinho casually said in the post match interview, "I'd been drinking, and when I saw that crowd, I thought, "I'm going to run and get over my hangover." Motivated by his sheer performance, Pinho wants to continue to take part in the sport.
He said, "I changed my life, and I want to change it even more. I'm getting a lot of advice, and I'll never give up. I want to participate in the sport."
Estela Larizzieri, a trainer from Brazil, posted a clip of Pinho on the gym's social media account after learning of his inspirational story.

Locals Provide Life Support To Him
According to the reports, locals have come to Pinho's aid by donating money, helping him find a temporary home until he can move into a place of his own, and assisting him in finding employment.
