A Lucknow-based eatery shop's staff couldn't recognise Indian and Punjab Kings bowler Arshdeep Singh as he and actress Sahiba Bali headed to grab a bite. In a video shared on YouTube by the Punjab Kings, Arshdeep was sarcastically heard saying who is the thinly-built bowler of India from Punjab.
Arshdeep, who started his IPL career in 2019, is currently the second-highest wicket-taker for the Punjab Kings with 83 wickets in 70 matches at 27.01. The left-arm seamer is also the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is and played an integral role in the Men in Blue winning the T20 World Cup last year.
In the video shared on YouTube channel, Arshdeep said sarcastically:
"Woh apne Punjab ka kaun hai dubla patla sa bowler." (There's a thinly built bowler from Punjab, who is that?)

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer has won the toss and elected to bat first in Mullanpur in the IPL 2025 game against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The Knight Riders have affected one change to their eleven, bringing in Anrich Nortje for Moeen Ali. Meanwhile, the hosts affected two changes, drafting in Josh Inglis for Marcus Stoinis and Xavier Bartlett for the injured Lockie Ferguson.
