Ex-Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has called for strict action against the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack that took place on April 22, Tuesday, claiming that any relations with Pakistan must be abandoned. The former left-handed batter underlined that it's no joke that such incidents keep happening almost every year and that terrorism cannot be tolerated at any cost.

At least 12 tourists have been reported injured and a handful of them lost their lives as Pakistan's militant groups have been alleged to have caused it. A father-son duo, belonging to Gujarat, are also included in the deceased list as the Indian government has taken several measures against Pakistan, causing a major geopolitical shift.

When asked whether India should break every ties with Pakistan, Ganguly fully supported it and said:

"Todna bhi chahiye. 100% todna chahiye. Strict action lena zaruri. Yeh koi mazaak nahin hai, har saal aise hota rehta hai. Terrorism cannot be tolerated." (It should be broken, 100%. Strict action needs to be taken. It's no joke that it keeps happening every year. Terrorism cannot be tolerated.)
