Former Team India coach and commentator Ravi Shastri goofed up royally during the toss in the IPL 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. A video of the same went viral on social media as the former Indian all-rounder wrongly announced that Punjab Kings had opted to bat first before correcting it and netizens trolled him for it.

Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru have lost Phil Salt (16) and Mayank Agarwal (24) after Shreyas Iyer opted to bowl first in Ahmedabad. Salt had looked dangerous from the first over by smashing Arshdeep Singh for a four and six but Kyle Jamieson got the better of him. Yuzvendra Chahal, meanwhile, dismissed Agarwal in his first over.

Both Shreyas Iyer and Rajat Patidar have announced unchanged playing elevens.
