Team India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant has suffered an injury scare on day one of the third Test against England at the Lord's Cricket Ground. In a video surfaced on social media, Pant was seen getting some magic spray on his hand after a half-stop behind the stumps, forcing him to walk off the ground, with Dhruv Jurel stepping in to keep wickets.

The incident occurred in the 33rd over of the innings as Jasprit Bumrah fired a delivery down the leg side and Pant dove to keep it down to a couple of runs, with Karun Nair chasing the ball. However, Pant was in quite a bit of discomfort and called on the dugout for some treatment. The 27-year-old continued till the end of the 33rd over but walked off the field, prompting Jurel to keep wickets.
Pant was seen grimacing in pain while walking off the field.
The tourists will hope for the left-hander to recover from the injury, especially from a batting perspective, given he is currently third-highest run-getter in the series with 342 runs, including two centuries.
