While there is rain in the forecast, it’s far from a washout. According to the UK Met Office, wet weather could impact the first half of Sunday in Birmingham. Rainfall chances are estimated at 50 to 30 per cent between 10 am and 2 pm local time (7:30 pm IST). However, conditions are expected to improve significantly after midday, with the forecast stating: “Heavy rain changing to overcast by lunchtime,” and rain chances dropping to below 10 per cent from 3 pm onward.

What are Team India's winning chances?

India remains in a commanding position heading into the final day. Shubman Gill's men have bounced back in emphatic fashion at Edgbaston. Choosing to bowl first on a sun-baked surface may have backfired for England, as India piled on a mountain of runs over both innings.

Leading from the front, Gill produced a historic batting performance, scoring 269 in the first innings and following it up with 161 in the second. He became the first player in Test history to record a double century and a 150+ score in the same match. His staggering total of 430 runs helped India amass a combined total of 1014 runs the first time India has ever crossed the 1000-run mark in a Test match in 591 outings.

With a daunting target of 608 runs, England face an uphill battle on the final day, needing a miracle to survive and atleast draw the match. A tense and exciting finale at Edgbaston on the final day.
