A striped tiger was spotted on Friday (20th) at around 1 PM on the Sakritola-Anjora road in Salekasa taluka. For five to ten minutes, the tiger wandered freely along the road, causing panic among commuters.
Videos of the tiger have surfaced online, with one clip showing frightened villagers chasing and throwing stones at the wild cat.
Reports indicate that the tiger fled towards a canal adjacent to the road. The villagers promptly alerted forest department officials, who arrived at the scene and began efforts to capture the animal safely.

Out of these deaths, 19 were due to natural causes, including starvation, while the other four tigers were killed by humans.
