A grand procession showcasing tribal culture was taken out in Nashik on the occasion of World Tribal Day, that is, International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples. Tribals participated in the festival by wearing traditional costumes and dancing to the tune of traditional instruments. On this occasion, the area was filled with various slogans.
World Tribal Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. Tribals took out a grand rally from Panchavati Karanja in Nashik to the Golf Club Ground. In this rally, tribal brothers were dancing in their traditional costumes to the tune of drums and cymbals. The office bearers of tribal organisations garlanded the statues of great men located at various places.
A large number of tribals and youth participated in this procession that started from Panchvati Karanja. This time, joy and enthusiasm were seen in the rally. This grand procession was taken out under the leadership of MLA Hiraman Khoskar, Nitin Pawar, former MLA Nirmala Gavit, National Youth President of Indian Tribal Development Council Lucky Jadhav, Ganesh Gawli, Laxman Kharat, and it ended at the Golf Club Ground.
Meanwhile, Birhad protesters celebrated Raksha Bandhan and Tribal Day at the protest site. On this occasion, the protesting women tied rakhi to the police. Apart from this, Ulgulan Kamgar Sanghatana also celebrated Tribal Day. Dilip Gangurde, Ashok Gotarne, Deva Watane, Shashikant More, Shantaram Charoskar, Arun Pawar, and Kailash Shardul were also present on this occasion.
