On the occasion of the 345th Punyatithi (death anniversary) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Shivshakti Pratishthan paid a humble tribute by organising various commemorative events on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

The event commenced at 8:00 AM at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial located in the Town Hall Museum premises. The program began with a cleanliness drive around the memorial, followed by its decoration with floral garlands.

A sacred water offering (Jalabhishek) was performed on the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, after which a ritualistic worship (Poojan) and floral tribute (Pushpahar Arpan) were conducted. The attendees then observed a moment of silence as a mark of respect.

Speaking at the event, Shivshakti Pratishthan President Satappa Kadav remarked, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is not just a symbol of Maharashtra but an eternal source of inspiration for the entire nation. His legacy teaches us lessons of social unity, self-respect, and righteous governance. Preserving his memory and ideals is our collective responsibility.”

Several dignitaries and members of Shivshakti Pratishthan, including Vice President Yogesh Rokde, Manish Badadare, Sandeep Padalkar, Mahesh Khade, Pravin Kurne, Prashant Patil, Tushar More, Prashant Jadhav, Ranjit Sutar, Prafull Bhalekar, Tanaji Ingle, Sujay Bhosale, Sachin Sase, and Rajaram Sankpal, were present on this occasion.

Shivshakti Pratishthan has been organizing such events every year to honor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy. This year, too, the organization upheld its social commitment by conducting a cleanliness drive and offering tributes to the great Maratha warrior.
