IndiGo Airlines' flight service from Ozar Airport in Nashik is receiving a good response from passengers, with as many as 34,349 passengers travelling in the month of March alone. Last year, this number was 22,269. This year, it has increased by 54.2 percent.
From Ozar Airport, IndiGo provides services to cities such as New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Goa. Although the Nagpur service was suspended for some time due to the ongoing work at Nagpur Airport, this service has also received a good response from passengers. Nashik is also connected to many cities in the country through hopping flights.
Nashik is currently doing well in air traffic due to connecting flights to 38 cities. Meanwhile, if we consider the month of March, there has been a 54.2 percent increase in the number of passengers compared to last year. In March 2024, 22,269 passengers travelled. In March 2025, this figure reached 34,349. Considering the number of passengers during the year, there has also been a big increase.
In 2023-24, 2,42,372 passengers travelled from Nashik Airport. In 2024-25, 3,41,112 passengers travelled with an increase of 40.7 percent. At present, the 'IndiGo' service started by three airlines one after the other from Nashik Airport is proving profitable. IndiGo has provided air services to only a few cities, and depending on the response of passengers, air services may be started from Nashik to other cities in the future. Meanwhile, there is a lot of traffic from Nashik for businessmen, professionals, and tourists. Therefore, there is a demand from Nashik residents that a service connecting other cities should be started.
The cargo service running from Ozar Airport is also getting a good response. In the month of March alone, 662 metric tons of goods have been transported through cargo. This includes 13.6 MT of domestic cargo and 649 MT of international cargo. In March 2024, 188 MT of cargo was transported internationally through cargo.

This is definitely a good thing for Nashik and will help Nashik's air transport services become more dynamic."
