Dr. Manasing Sable, senior medical officer at Sassoon General Hospital (SGH), has been appointed head of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Cell for Pune district.
The establishment of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Cell at the District Collector’s office was announced on Sunday by a notice issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Government of Maharashtra.
Dr. Sable currently serves as a medical officer at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. He has now been additionally appointed as the President and Medical Officer of the Relief Fund Cell. “His medical expertise and commitment to social welfare will help ensure that the right support reaches those who need it most,” said a senior health official.
Given the presence of a large number of charitable hospitals in Pune district, Dr. Sable’s appointment will help the people to get support. Under his leadership, the Cell is expected to efficiently ensure timely and appropriate support to those in need.
Dr. Sable holds the record for playing a vital role in facilitating financial and medical aid for many underprivileged individuals, and his experience is set to further strengthen this newly entrusted responsibility.
The CM Relief Fund Cell works in coordination with the Charitable Hospital Assistance Cell to guide patients, facilitate free treatment in charitable hospitals, and provide information on various government health schemes. Patients who do not qualify for other government schemes will be supported through this fund.
