The trouble for Sinhagad Road residents is not ending. Even after the opening of the much-anticipated stretch of the Sinhagad Road flyover, traffic on the road is not easing.

Last Monday, the road saw a severe gridlock stretching 6 km, wasting at least 3 hours of every commuter's morning.

After much protest by the residents and threats to start using the flyover if the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) failed to open it, the flyover was inaugurated on May 1 by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
