Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to urban development while inaugurating and dedicating a host of infrastructure and welfare projects worth over ₹713 crore in the Ichalkaranji Assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister, while addressing a public gathering, stated that the government is determined to support development proposals from elected representatives and assured that all pending and future proposals related to Ichalkaranji’s growth would be approved without delay.
Fadnavis was accompanied by several key dignitaries including Public Health and Family Welfare Minister and Kolhapur Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, MPs Dhananjay Mahadik and Dhairyashil Mane, MLAs Rahul Awade, Ashokrao Mane, and Shivajirao Patil, along with former minister Prakash Awade and senior district officials.
A statue of Karveer Niwasini Shri Ambabai Devi was presented to CM Fadnavis by Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar and District Collector Amol Yedge as a gesture of respect.
Upon arrival at Kolhapur airport, CM Fadnavis was welcomed by a delegation led by Higher Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar, MP Dhananjay Mahadik, MLAs, and senior district officials. District Collector Amol Yedge presented the Chief Minister with a booklet showcasing Kolhapur’s tourism highlights.
The day concluded with a goodwill visit by CM Fadnavis to Arya Chanakya Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, further emphasizing his engagement with local cooperative institutions.
The large-scale event was praised by CM Fadnavis, who specifically acknowledged MLA Rahul Awade for organizing the program efficiently.
