Mumbai: In a tragic incident that occurred on Wednesday, a migrant worker from Telangana died due to a suspected heart attack mid-air while returning home from Saudi Arabia. The deceased, Sriramula Sridhar, hailed from Korutla town in the Jagityal district and had been working in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, for the past few years to support his family. The flight made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport, where the medical officials failed to revive him.
Sridhar Was Returning Home From Dammam
On Tuesday night, Sridhar boarded a flight from Dammam to Hyderabad with hopes of reuniting with his loved ones. However, during the journey, he reportedly began feeling unwell and soon became unresponsive. When the flight crew noticed he was not breathing, they immediately informed the onboard medical personnel. An emergency landing was arranged at Mumbai Airport to seek urgent medical attention.

Upon landing, a team of doctors rushed to the aircraft and attempted to revive him by performing CPR. Despite their efforts, Sridhar showed no signs of recovery and was declared dead on the spot. A video surfaced online shows a doctor performing CPR on Sridhar on the tarmac. The cause of death is suspected to be a sudden health complication, although an official confirmation is awaited.

Sridhar’s untimely death has plunged his family into grief. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
