A massive fire broke out at a warehouse and later engulfed several adjacent godowns in Bhiwandi in the early morning of Monday. Fire officials said that no casualties have been reported in connection with this fire incident. The fire incident took place at the Richland compound in Vadpe village in Bhiwandi on Monday at 3 AM.
Fire Officials Statement
Fire officials from the Bhiwandi fire station said, "They received information about a fire in a godown and dispatched two fire engine to the spot to extinguish the fire. Moreover, two fire tenders came from Kalyan, to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire was brought under control, and cooling operations are continuing."


According to the fire department, a total of six warehouses—KK Indian Petroleum Specialty Pvt Ltd, Cannon Indian Petroleum Ltd, Bright Life Care Pvt Ltd, Holisol Pvt Ltd, Abbot Healthcare Pvt Ltd—and event management items were stored in the godown. However, chemicals, printing machines, electronic gadgets, protein products, clothes, cosmetic products, and shoes were stored in multiple godowns that were destroyed in the fire.
The fire officials said that multiple godowns were established for these companies in the compound. "After the cooling operation, the panchnama will be conducted into the matter, and later, it will be learned about the cause of the fire." Said an officials.
