Navi Mumbai Rotary Clubs To Host First-Ever Coastal Security Awareness Run On August 17

The race will have separate male and female categories: 18–30 years, 31–50 years, and 51 years and above. Winners in each category will receive a trophy, while the first 200 participants will get complimentary T-shirts and the first 200 finishers will earn medals. Hydration points and breakfast/snack boxes will be provided.

Rotary Clubs of Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with the NRI (Coastal) Police Station, will host their first-ever marathon — Kavach: Run for Coastal Suraksha — on Sunday, August 17, 2025, to raise awareness on coastal security.

The run will begin from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (Nmmc) headquarters in Belapur, with bib and T-shirt distribution starting at 5:30 am, followed by a Zumba warm-up session at 6:00 am.

The event will be flagged off at 6:30 am by District Governor and senior police officials.

The Interact Club of RC Satellite City Navi Mumbai has planned engaging finish-line activities including tic-tac-toe, planking challenges, sprints, and a tug of war.

Registration for the event is open until 10 pm on August 15 through a quick online form.
