Three motorcyclists lost their lives in separate road accidents across Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. In the first incident, a 28-year-old Hanmant Rajaram Dhale from Kavthe Mahankal, Sangli, who currently resided in Koparkhairane Sector-18 died after he dashed on a tree. Dhale was riding at high speed from Fortis Hospital in Vashi towards Juhugaon around 12.45 am when he lost control of his Splendor motorcycle and crashed into a tree near the Swaminarayan Kala Kendra. He sustained severe injuries and died during treatment at a Vashi municipal hospital. Vashi Police, in their initial investigation, found Dhale responsible for the crash and have filed a case under the Motor Vehicles Act.

In the second case reported, a 24-year-old Zomato delivery executive, identified as Abhishek Lalgir Gosavi, was killed instantly after a speeding dumper truck struck his motorcycle from behind. The accident occurred around 2.15 pm near the Reliance Bridge on the Thane-Belapur Road in Rabale. Gosavi, originally from Nashik and residing in Airoli, was on his way to deliver an order when the mishap took place. The dumper driver fled the scene but was later caught by Rabale MIDC Police. “A case has been registered and further investigations are underway,” a police officer from Rabale MIDC police station said.

Later that night, around 11.30 pm, another fatal accident was reported in CBD Sector-1. Nikhil Sakharam Aware (24), a resident of CBD Sector-4, was returning home on his Bajaj Pulsar when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle near the underpass of the Mumbai-Pune Highway.” He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. We have launched a search for the unidentified driver,” a police officer from CBD Belapur police station said.
